Below is a summary of my career and achievements to date. More information is available on my Linkedin profile.

2024

 

  • Research and Innovation Administrative Assistant at Cardiff Met. Working on social media promotion for upcoming Research and Innovation Week and the editing and graphic design of showcase posters for a range of R&I projects across the university. Supporting the Centre for Entrepreneurship with social media and email marketing promotion of their business development programmes, mentoring scheme and other initiatives throughout the summer. Other work includes completing financial processes and providing support to university staff with any R&I queries.

  • Final semester of my MSc degree. Worked on my final project, a 'marketing plan in a digital context'. This involved working with a live business to develop a digital marketing strategy for them.

  • Graduation in summer 2024.

 

2023

 

  • Started MSc Digital Marketing Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University, in January.

  • Completed my digital marketing internship.

  • Achieved an average grade of 72% in my first semester.

  • Attended the 'Freelancers Academy' in June, a 3-day business development programme run by the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

 

2022

 

  • WJEC CBAC: As Digital Learning Officer, I project managed and storyboarded digital mathematics resources, and worked on development of a mathematics textbook.

  • University of the Arts London: Completed a short course in Digital Graphic Design. I worked on three projects using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

 

2021

 

  • WJEC CBAC: Promoted to Digital Learning Officer within the Educational Resources team in September.

  • WJEC CBAC: Worked as an English language editor for digital educational resources in a range of GCSE and A Level subjects.

  • Open University: Achieved a Distinction in the university-level mathematics module 'Essential Mathematics 1'.

 

2020

 

  • WJEC CBAC: Started new role on the Educational Resources team at WJEC CBAC, a Welsh examination board based in Cardiff.

  • Cardiff University School of Medicine: Promoted to Evaluation Officer within the Centre for Medical Education's Quality Assurance Team in April. Worked on student surveys - creating them, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, and writing reports to feed into continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Cardiff University School of Medicine: Worked as an Administrative Assistant within the Centre for Medical Education's Quality Assurance Team. Organised on-site and off-site meetings for medical education staff members, facilitated the Staff Development Group meetings and worked on process improvement projects within the department.

 

2019

 

  • Cardiff University School of Medicine: Started new role in August, as an Administrative Assistant within the Centre for Medical Education's Quality Assurance Team.

  • Moved to Cardiff in May. While looking for my next employed role, I worked on a series of floral illustration pieces inspired by the summer flowers in Wales and the West of England.

  • Alliance Manchester Business School: Worked as Student Support and Events Programme Administrator for the Global MBA programme.

 

2018

 

  • Alliance Manchester Business School: Started my first graduate role as Student Support and Events Programme Administrator for the Global MBA programme.

  • University of Manchester: Graduated with a first class in BA (Hons) Linguistics, and received the Dean's Award for Achievement.

 

2017

 

University of Manchester: Started my final year of my undergraduate degree in BA Linguistics in September.

Yves Delorme: Worked as a part time sales advisor for this luxury bedlinen company within House of Fraser, Manchester.

 

2016

 

University of Manchester: Started my second year of my undergraduate degree in BA Linguistics in September.

Worked in various customer service roles.

 

2015

 

University of Manchester: Started my first year of my undergraduate degree in BA Linguistics in September.

The Mermaid Restaurant & St Brides Spa Hotel: Worked as a Food and Beverage Assistant in the restaurant and on the hotel reception.

 

2014

 

Dyffryn Taf School: Completed my A Levels, achieving 3 A* grades in Mathematics, French, and Art & Design. I also passed the Welsh Baccalaureate and achieved an A grade in AS Level biology.

The Mermaid Restaurant & St Brides Spa Hotel: Started my first job after finishing school in July.

 

2013

 

Dyffryn Taf School: Started my second year of sixth form in September. Completed AS Level exams in Mathematics, Art & Design, French, and Biology.
